The fastener industry in Jiulonghu Town has obvious characteristics. There are nearly 100 fastener enterprises in Zhenhai District, of which 90% are enterprises in Jiulonghu Town, and the annual output value accounts for one fourth of Ningbo City and one sixteenth of the country. In the first half of 2022, 32 fastener enterprises completed the gross industrial output value above designated size of 2.06 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 15.5%.
In recent years, Jiulonghu Town has paid more attention to the optimization of industrial blocks while increasing the construction of rural infrastructure and implementing the renovation of rural human settlements. “Today, the fastener industry of characteristic blocky economy is facing transformation and upgrading. Common prosperity requires not only getting rich, but also making the industry bigger, better and stronger, and improving the living environment. To this end, Jiulonghu Town has promoted the upgrading and transformation of fastener industry for three years. On the one hand, it has carried out the demolition of villages in the park, and on the other hand, it has combined the comprehensive management of land and space to build a modern fastener industry park, and improve the living environment of the park and rural areas.” The relevant responsible person of Jiulonghu Town said.
For the fastener industry, the town carried out a three-year improvement plan, focusing on the upgrading and transformation of Xihe Fastener Park, integrating land resources, optimizing the spatial layout of the industrial park, creating a small and micro industrial park with characteristics, promoting the overall clearance of inefficient enterprises, and will basically achieve the gathering of enterprises in the park during the “14th Five Year Plan”.
