Dimensional measurement for high strength hex bolts
7 Jan 2019
Use appropriate measuring tools (such as calipers, vernier calipers, etc.) to measure the diameter, length, and other dimensions of bolts to ensure they meet the requirements.
Surface quality inspection: Check the quality of the bolt surface, including whether there are oxidation, rust, cracks, or other defects.
Forming inspection: Check whether the threads, head, and tail of the bolt are fully formed, whether the threads are clear, and whether the bolt head is damaged or notched.
Rated identification inspection: Check whether the identification on the bolt (such as brand number, batch number, specification, etc.) is clear and recognizable.

Strength Testing for High Strength Hex Bolts
7 Jan 2019
Testing the strength parameters of bolts, including tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, etc., through tensile or torsion tests. This can be done through dedicated tensile testing machines or torsion testing machines.
Hardness testing: Use a hardness tester to perform hardness testing on bolts to determine their surface hardness or material hardness.
Impact test: Conduct an impact test on bolts using an impact testing machine to verify their impact performance.
Ultrasonic testing: Non destructive testing of bolts using ultrasonic testing technology to detect internal defects.
Chemical composition analysis: Conduct chemical composition analysis to ensure that the material meets the specified composition requirements.

Hardness Testing for High Strength Hex Bolts
7 Jan 2019
Use hardness testing instruments such as Rockwell hardness tester, Brinell hardness tester, or Vickers hardness tester to perform hardness testing on high-strength bolts. Hardness testing can provide important information about the hardness and strength of bolt materials, used to evaluate their durability and service life.
